FOR SALE

Welsh Section C filly foaled May 2007. Lady is chestnut with flaxen mane and tail, neat blaze, 2 long whites at the back and 2 short whites at the front, excellent conformation, good action, plenty of bone and a real ‘pony’ look. She is a favourite with all the children and she loves to have cuddles and attention. She is well handled, comes up to you to be caught in the field, good with farrier, bathing, loading etc. She should make 13 hh. (photo as a 2 year old).

Lady has been lightly shown and has already won a WPCS bronze medal and been SWA Section C points champion. As a yearling she was shown in young handlers by an inexperienced 8 year old boy, and behaved very well for him.Lady is by Gwenllan Arwel (by Gwenllan Sam who was out of Gwenllan Sali).

She is out of Brohedydd Linda Ann (by Glanteifi Morris out of a Nebo Bouncer mare). Her half sister, Brohedydd Moli Ann, has been placed at Royal Welsh several times and her 2010 half sister, Brohedydd Mary Ellen, was reserve supreme at Ceredigion Foal Show and was sold to Denmark, helping earn her breeder the Brightwells Champagne Moment.

We feel that Lady has several options for her future: ridden, showing, brood mare and child’s best friend. She is a sweet filly and we would ask that you only contact us if you can give her a loving home.

She is a WPCS bronze medal winner, although only shown lightly. She has good conformation and free, ground covering, straight action. She loves human company, leaving her friends in the field to follow you. She also has a calm temperament, is good with farrier, to worm, load etc.

Glanna is by Seiont Venture (out of top price mare Fronarth Black Diamond) and out of Trevarth Generous (herself a Sup Ch and full sister to many times ridden Sup Ch Trevarth Galahad). Her great grand sires are Mabnescliffe Survivor, Cyttir Telynor, Parc Cardi and Parc Sir Ivor.

She is bred to perform. With her looks, action and lovely nature she should go to the top. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a filly with a combination of good looks, lovely nature and height. We feel that she would also make a good broodmare of either pure or part-bred cobs.
