SWA Stud Competition 2019

            Due to the reduction in the number of  studs entering the competition annually The committee decided to hold the Stud Competition bi-annually and it is due to be held this year.   Details will be announced later.  The competition is usually held at the beginning of September.   The panel judge actually judges the ponies & cobs at the stud.  There are marks for type, movement and conformation.

Young Handler of the Year 2019

Open to SWA members between the ages of 7 and 16 years of age.

Classes for Young Handlers  are held at all SWA Shows.  The highest placed SWA of WPCS member in those classes qualify for the SWA Young Handler of the Year final which will be held on 3rd November 2019 at the WPCS Bronze Medal Show, Bicton College Indoor Arena, East Bydleigh, Devon EX9 7BH .   The Young Handler must produce their Membership badge in the ring to qualify.

YOUNG HANDLERS will be judged on style, turnout and manners. The pony/cob shown need not be registered in the Welsh Stud Book.  NO COLTS OR STALLIONS ALLOWED.

WPCS In Hand Medal classes for all four sections and Part Breds.  Separate section for Shetland in hand classes.  Young Handler classes and Ridden classes for Welsh and Non Welsh.
